On the Western slope of the Rocky Mountains is Grand Junction in Mesa County. Similar to (and about 2 hours from) Moab, Utah, this place is a dirt bike (mountain bike, 4×4, ATV) haven. This is a picture taken in The Book Cliffs at the top of Skinny Ridge. Yep, you gotta use a dirt bike to get to the top and you better make sure your brakes work good when you come down. It’s steep! Another cool fact about this county is that it has the worlds largest flat-top mountain in Grand Mesa!
